Over 3.6 million cases were included in the database of the Debtors Register of ERIF BIG SA after three quarters of 2015.

In the last three months, the value of all registered cases increased by 29 percent, reaching the level of nearly 17 billion zlotys. The Register noted, among others about 2.2 million indebtedness of consumers themselves, total value not exceeding PLN 15 billion. Most in the Śląskie, Dolnośląskie and Mazowieckie provinces with the average value of the unpaid financial liability at the level of approx. PLN 6,000.


How are the Poles indebted?


The data collected in the Register of Debtors of ERIF BIG SA show that the most negative cases were reported in the Śląskie Voivodeship – almost 300,000. cases worth more than PLN 2 billion. The second and third place are respectively – Lower Silesian voivodship with almost 230 thousand. cases (value – about PLN 1.4 billion) and Mazowieckie from over 210,000 (value approx. PLN 1.6 billion).


The summary of one of the four business information offices operating in Poland also shows that the highest average value of debt (almost PLN 8,000) is to be paid to Małopolska, while the inhabitants of Podkarpacie are indebted on average to less than 5.3 thousand.
